  • 3 kiwis, peeled and cut into pieces

  • 1 tbsp icing sugar

  • For the Tiramisu:

  • 12 lady finger biscuits or sponge fingers

  • 1 large cup of strong coffee

  • 250g mascarpone

  • 4 tbsps icing sugar

  • 1 egg (white and yolk separated)

  • 2 tbsps cocoa

  • A pinch ground cinnamon

Kiwi Sauce with Tiramisu


  1. Blend the kiwis with orange juice and sugar until you get a fine sauce. Store in fridge.
  2. Mix the coffee in a bowl.
  3. Soak the biscuits in the coffee mixture and place in the base of a suitable serving dish.
  4. Whisk the egg white until stiff.
  5. Place the mascarpone, egg yolk and sugar in another bowl and beat until soft and light.
  6. Carefully fold in the egg white with a spatula.
  7. Divide the mascarpone mixture over the biscuits.
  8. Put the dish in the fridge for an hour.
  9. Divide the tiramisu between four plates.
  10. Mix the cocoa and cinnamon together and sprinkle over the tiramisu.
  11. Pour the sauce around it and serve.
